Barranco is a district with a vast tradition and history, boasting lovely streets, old mansions, and plazas. It is famous for being the most bohemian and culturally oriented of Lima’s districts, with museums, designer boutiques, handicraft fairs, and live music.  Start off with a stroll on famous “Puente de los Suspiros” (Bridge of Sighs) and breathe in some of the air of Lima past. Next is the Pedro de Osma Museum, where you will see the finest collection of Colonial paintings, furniture, and textiles.  The tour continues with a stop at the museum of renowned photographer Mario Testino, where on display is the most extensive collection of his photographs; it is the only cultural institution in the world with permanent exhibits of this famous Peruvian artist.

Built around 700 A.D as a temple for the worship of the sun god, Pachacamac, it housed an oracle that is believed to be one of the main piligrimage centres in pre-Columbian Peru. The site includes palaces, plazas that have been painstakingly restored. The tour is 4 hours.

We recommend you The tunnel of surprises, about 35 meters long and with public access; the fountain of children, with an irresistible water system to play with; or the fountain of the reverie labyrinth, that will make you discover a maze formed by water walls with different effects.  After that, we will take you to a local restaurant for dinner.
